Turismo do Alentejo - Regional Tourism Entity is the Portuguese public entity responsible for organizing, structuring and promoting tourism in the territory of Alentejo (47 municipalities) and Lezíria do Tejo (11 municipalities). It is the institution promoting the event.

Portugal Walking Festival is a registered trademark and an original idea of SAL Sistemas de Ar Livre. Thought in 2006, it only had its first edition in Serra da Estrela in 2013, followed by Sertã in 2014 and two editions in Alto Alentejo in 2015. In 2018 and 2019 it had the editions of the Alpalhão Art and Walking Festival, organized by the Hotel Monte Philip. SAL is a Tourist Operator (RNAV 5107) and Tourism Entertainment Company (RNAAT 28/2003).

The Alentejo Regional Tourism Promotion Agency is an associative entity made up of the Regional Tourism Entity, tourism companies from different branches of activity and municipalities in the Alentejo. Its exclusive function is to promote tourism in the Alentejo territory, in terms of brands and tourist products, in international markets.
